Established in 1911, we are an authorized Schwinn Dealer. Located in Oak Park, Illinois.

Giving you the best service, selection and savings has kept Barnard's Schwinn Cyclery a premier bike store for almost 100 years. We sell the best brands in the industry. We have a selection of bikes, accessories and clothing, a full service repair department, and friendly and knowledgeable personnel.

In 1911, Barnard's Schwinn opened for business as a bicycle and sporting goods store, as well as locksmith in Oak Park. Since then, we've specialized in the sales of bicycles, accessories, and clothing, with a complete service department to repair your bike.

Owned and operated by brothers Greg and Jeff Hajduk, we know the importance of you, our customer. Giving you the best service, selection and savings has kept us as the foremost bike store for all these years!

We Offer Test Rides!

Test Ride Before You Buy

Our Requirements
We require a valid driver's license (with photo) and a major credit card in order to test ride. We'll put these in a safe place and return them when you finish riding.

What To Wear And Bring
While you're welcome to test ride our bicycles in street clothes, we recommend wearing athletic or rubber-soled shoes so that you'll be able to pedal and get on and off each bicycle comfortably.

For test riding the bikes, feel free to wear your riding shorts, jersey and shoes (you can suit up in our dressing room). This is the best way to compare new machines because it's what you're used to when you're riding your current bike.
